Kerala Church Opens Its Doors For Evening Namaz For Muslim Protesters

A church in Kothanmangalam, Kerala is welcoming a group of Muslim protesters to offer Namaz. The group was a part of “secular youth march” organized in Kerala against the Citizenship Amendment Act and National Register of Citizens (NRC). By the time the march ended it was the time for the protesters to offer their evening prayers. They tried to find a mosque nearby but couldn’t, when one of them contacted the vicar of a St. Thomas church, locally known as Marthoma Cheriapally, who not only gave them permission but also immediately went on to make required arrangements for the protesters to offer their prayers.

During all the anti-CAA protests all over the country incidents like these are becoming an example for all the people and promoting the idea of communal harmony and secularism, amongst citizens!
