This Is How A Japan Airline Will Help You Escape A Crying Baby

Ah! The number of times we have been a long flight, (or even just an hour long flight), and dreaded each passing moment – No, not just because it’s kind of taxing, but because a baby was wailing all throughout. Now, a Japan airline has unveiled a new tool that helps you book a seat far far away from an infant.

“Passengers traveling with children between 8 days and 2 years old who select their seats on the JAL website will have a child icon displayed on their seats on the seat selection screen,” reads the airline’s website.

While you may find yourself feeling extremely elated, know that Japan Airlines states that the baby map will not display child icons in certain situations. And works only for bookings made through the JAL website, also, icons will not display if there is a change in aircraft. The icon would not appear if passengers booked their flight through a third party or were part of a tour group, or if there was a last-minute change of aircraft, the airline’s website said.
