US Author’s ‘Unflavourful’ Tweet On Indian Food Has Got Twitter Feeling Bitter

Whether constructively intended or not, nobody really likes to take criticism.

An unflavourful tweet by Tom Nichols, a professor at the US Naval War College and specialist in Russian affairs and US politics, that asserts Indian food is “terrible”, has left many Indian Twitterati pouring anger.

American author and anchor of the cookery reality show Top Chef Padmalaskhmi retaliated, by asking, “Do you not have tastebuds?” Thor Benson, a writer, responded, “I’ll take Americans not understanding food from other cultures for $1,000”

This is not the first time Tom Nichols has been attacked for his controversial opinion. He was recently under fire for his comments on environmental activist Greta Thunberg about how a 9-year-old child suffering from autism should not be dragged to “adult conversation” about climate change.

  1. Foodie

Clearly he has some serious gastric troubles which maybe the reason for his strong dislike to flavoured dishes!
