This hidden gem place in Himachal Pradesh will surely make you fall in love with itself. We are sure you must have not heard much about this paradise called Jibhi. This is surely an idle place where you can just pack your trekking bags and get out with your friends to trek and relax with mother nature.

Jibhi is situated in the Banjar Valley of Himachal Pradesh and on the banks of the rippling Tirthan River. When in Jibhi you are mostly woken up by the voice of the gigantic river or the chirping of birds and the beautiful smell of nature.

The First destination has to start with one of the beautiful treks in Himachal is to Jalori Pass, it is a 12 km beautiful trek from in between of the huge trees and jungle finally you reach on the top and get to see the beautiful Sarosar lake on the top, there are many other locations as well when you are en route, such as Jalori Mata’s Temple at Jalori Pass, Buri Nagan’s Temple at Sereolsar Lake, but the View and the Lake is worth the trek.

The Second destination when in Jibhi has to be the Jibhi Waterfall, The early morning wander to the Jibhi waterfall, which is less than a kilometer from the main town is rewarded to be one of the amazing waterfalls by crossing lovely small wooden bridges over the stream which is flowing down from the waterfall. The area near the waterfalls is very nicely paved with stone and cement and appears like a pool below the waterfalls.

The Third destination has to be one other trek which will take you to Chehni Kothi Fort from in between of the green apple trees, you’ll even find pure mountain water flowing down and it’s chilled and pure if you feel thirsty during the trek and huge jungle around you, the fresh air around you will be a treat for your body and lungs. It is a 4-5 km long trek, the trek is equally beautiful as the final view is when you finally reach your destination on the top.

Guide to getting there

By Air: The nearest airport is in Bhuntar in the Kullu district, 60 km/2 hr from Jibhi. A more economical option is to fly to Chandigarh and take a taxi to Jibhi.

By Rail: The nearest railway station is at Shimla, 150 km/6 hr from Jibhi. There is no direct service from Delhi to Shimla, so passengers need to change trains at Kalka. Then board onto a one-way taxi from Shimla to Jibhi starts.

By Road: The simplest way to travel to Jibhi is to board a bus for Manali from Delhi and step off at Aut. Then arrange for a taxi pickup or take another bus to Banjar, which is 8 km before Jibhi, and get a taxi from there.
