Government To Fund Travel Expenses Of Tourists Who Visit Different Parts Of India

During the two-day National Tourism Conference, the Centre made an interesting announcement, which should get travellers pretty darn piqued! Union Minister Prahlad Singh said that, Tourism Ministry will fund the travel expenses of tourists who visit 15 destinations in the country in a year and submit the photos to our website.

This is being encouraged by the Government’s initiative called – Paryatan Parv. The only condition is that the person who decided to travel should so out of their own state. Singh also added, “This should not be construed as a monetary benefit but as an incentive. We should honour these persons as brand ambassadors of Indian Tourism”.

So, wanderlusting wanderers this is literally as good as it gets for you! We suggest you make an itinerary and get cracking on a journey that will make you look at your homeland, differently.
