1. Top trends to watch out for this wedding season:

The new age bride wants her look to be minimal, graceful and classic. Making a statement with subdued tones is the season’s statement. Aashima -Leena have been using pastels for bridal wear for many seasons now and from long before the trend came into limelight. We say the soft pastels hues are going to be a bridal favourite this season as well. That being said, we can not ignore the rich and traditional significance of Red and Maroon that make it every bride’s favourite and the old world charms are here to stay. The ‘Khwabeedi’ collection explores contemporary forms by sustaining the indigenous craftsmanship in an amalgamation of fine details as seen in hand crafted jewelled tassels and authentic beauty of the Indian craft through fine appliquéing

2. Colour Picks For An Unconventional Bride For A Summer And Winter Wedding:

Ivories and light pink are the two tones that are very refreshing for a bride for a summer wedding. Adding to the palette, colours like lemon and light turquoise will make you stand out at a summer wedding! For winter wedding, hues of red and maroon combined with the shimmer of gold is a classic and regal combination for a bride getting married in winters. For the morning the colour should be more somber with light silhouettes where as the dark colours and more glittery stuff is appropriate for the night .

3. Indo – Western fusion trends that one must experiment with:

Drapes, cowl salwars, dhotis, pati patiyala salwars give a modern contemporary fusion look.

For the Wedding brides only wants to wear lehengas  unless its a Sikh wedding where brides are still wearing salwar kameez with beautiful dupatta.

5. Ways to accessorise or wear a traditional saree differently:

Traditional sarees can be accessorise or worn in different and unique ways. Team it with churidar or a dhoti and start draping the saree folding in the pleats. Exchange your blouse with a mid length jacket or a modern peplum blouse and wear your pallu in a reverse wrap. Try these and you will sure be a true modern bride!

6. Things that a bride look at when buying her Wedding Lehenga:

Be a bride that stands up. Go for trends that are not so usual and you will surely be the bride that every one will remember! Watch out for the colour trend of the season, but don’t get too carried away with the trends, make sure you are comfortable with the carrying the colour and that amplifies your look! Brides usually go for a traditional wedding lehenga skirt but to make the look exemplary, there is a lot of experimentation that can be done with the blouses, swap it with a pleated hem blouse or a jacketed one. Always go for cuts and silhouettes that give your traditional look a touch of modernity.
